We publicly announced our 2024 legislative priorities on Wednesday, December 6 at Cedar Ridge Winery & Distillery in Swisher, IA. The room was filled with 100+ business leaders, 11 state legislators, representatives from the offices of Senator Ernst, Senator Grassley, Representative Hinson, and Representative Miller-Meeks, as well as local elected officials.

Doug Neumann, Executive Director of the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance, reflected on the legislative wins of previous years, including the creation of Destination Iowa to help communities with placemaking projects and increasing funding for workforce housing tax credits and brownfield/greyfield redevelopment tax credits.
